Menu QR Code Generator
Point your customers at your menu with one scan. Paste the URL of your menu below. The QR is generated in your browser and sized for print.
A menu QR points to a URL where your menu lives: a PDF, a webpage, an ordering system. Customers scan it with their phone camera and the menu opens. No app, no login, no download.
The scan itself is silent. The QR contains the URL and nothing else. Whatever the URL does is up to you.
QR codes need to be large enough that a customer's phone can lock focus from the expected viewing distance. Rule of thumb: the QR should be about 1/10th the scanning distance.
- Table tent (1-2 inch): customers scanning at arm's length, ~10-20 inches away
- Menu insert (3-4 inch): larger menus, wall menus, restaurant windows at close range
- Poster or window sign (6+ inch): scanning from across a room or the sidewalk
The size picker above sets the pixel dimensions of the downloaded PNG so it stays crisp when printed at your target size. All sizes use high error correction, so the code stays scannable even with small print artifacts or wear.
- Table tent: the classic, a small folded card at each table
- Menu insert: printed on the physical menu, on a bookmark, or inside a menu holder
- Window or poster: for takeout and delivery, so customers scan without entering
- Receipt or takeout bag: "scan to see the menu again" for return visits
Restaurant QR menus have earned a bad reputation because most vendors sell scan analytics, redirect through their servers, and expire the QR when you stop paying. That's not what happens here.
- We don't track scans. The QR contains your URL directly. Nothing routes through us.
- We don't make your QR expire. Print it once, it works forever.
- We don't require a login, subscription, or account.
- We don't collect anything about the customers who scan.
