Our Promise

BlipCode is a free QR code generator and scanner. This page lists exactly what happens when you use it, and what doesn't.

If we ever change any of these, we'll say so on this page with the date it changed.

What We Do

  • Generate QR codes for URLs, plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards, and menus, with or without a logo.
  • Scan QR codes from your camera or an image.
  • All of it in your browser. Nothing you type gets uploaded to us.
  • Give you every feature for free: PNG and SVG downloads, custom colors, and logos.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't charge for anything.
  • We don't ask you to sign up, and we never ask for your email.
  • We don't track the scans of QR codes you generate. We can't: the QR points to your destination, not ours.
  • We don't collect the content you put into your QR codes. It's processed in your browser and never touches our servers.
  • We don't run ads.
  • We don't send marketing emails, newsletters, or product-update blasts.
  • We don't retarget you across the web.
  • We don't share, sell, or trade any data with anyone.
  • We don't make your QR code expire.
  • We don't require accounts, passwords, or profiles.
